Adriana Joe had a fantastic defensive game as she shutdown Lynn Tech's top scorer in Whittier's 54-26 win over Lynn Tech.  Joe had eight rebounds in the win. Andrea Terranova led all scorers with 15 points and five steals.

Derek Hunter and Dan Rivet each scored two goals while Mike Cusack, Jake Silk and Rick O'Connor each added two assists to help North Andover boys hockey win 4-2 over Amesbury-Whittier. 

Whittier raced out to a 17-point halftime lead and held on for a 57-49 victory over Mystic Valley. With 14 points apiece, junior Andrew Wells hit on four 3-pointers while classmate Justin Reyes drained six free throws.

Andrew Wells drilled five 3-pointers and played solid defense while Justin Reyes had a strong fourth quarter and finished with 22 points as Whittier beat MVC foe Dracut, 70-56.

Freshman Travis Motsis scored his first varsity goal, which proved to be the game-winning in Whittier-Amesbury's 3-2 win over Pentucket-Georgetown. Freshman Tabor Smith assisted on the goal along with junior Tucker Holt, who earned his first varsity point with that helper. Junior Evan King (18 saves) withstood a late Pentucket enslaught to secure the win.

Abby Galloway-Burke 12 rebound.  Amanda Petrow 12 rebounds. Molly Condon 14 points 11 rebounds.

The Whittier wrestling team had seven pins while defeating Everett 48-33 to climb over the .500 mark at 11-10. Shane Surette had the quickest pin of the day, in 37 seconds at 152.

Fresh off her 27-point effort Samnell Vonleh dominated Lowell Catholic with 17 points, seven rebounds and three blocks in just three quarters of action of the Whittier Tech 53-39 win.

Rising sophomore Jamal Babiker prevailed with a 4-3 decision at 120 pounds as Whittier Tech wrestled Dracut tough in a 42-30 setback.

Christina Medley scored 28 points, including netting five 3-pointers. She also added nine rebounds and five blocks but Whittier girls basketball lost 56-52 to Lexington.
