Nick Potter's goal with 13 seconds left in overtime gave Brooks a thrilling 1-0 win over Kingswood-Oxford. Tyler Stillings made 26 saves to secure the win.

Tied at 50 with three seconds to go in the game, Jon Stronach drew a foul and hit the two subsequent free throws to give Brooks the lead en route to a 54-50 win over Groton. Stronach finished with just four points, while Matt Lanchantin contributed a double-double.

North Andover's Appalonia Tankersley scored 13 points — 11 on free throws — and grabbed 18 rebounds in Brooks' loss to Groton.

Brooks stormed back with four third period goals to pull even with St. Mark's, but then fell in overtime, 6-5. Nick Galenos had a goal and two assists while Nick Vozzella and Matt Geremia each had a goal and an assist.

Taylor Steadman scored with less than a minute to play, propelling Brooks to a thrilling 2-1 win over Milton Academy. Marina Moschitto assisted on the game-winner and the duo connected in the first period with Moschitto scoring the goal.

Liz King passed to Emily Finneran for the winning goal midway though the third to give Brooks a 2-1 win over BB&N. Christy Donovan also had an assist on the goal.

Brooks continued to gain momentum after its season opening win over New Hampton this past Wednesday, downing Pingree, 55-38, to improve to 2-0.

Jordan Johnson was flat-out dominant, draining seven field goals, including four threes, for a game-high 18 points. For the second straight game, Jason Buco (seven points, seven rebounds) staggered the opposition on defense, and Tim Glen racked up a double-double thanks to a 12-point, 12-rebound performance, both career highs.

Despite two goals from Taylor MacGivillar, Brooks fell to Pingree 5-3. Joe Napolitano added the final goal and Nick Galanos of Atkinson chipped in with an assist for the Green and White.

Brooks' Appalonia Tankersly last second shot from just under the basket rolled out as Brooks dropped its season opener in dramtic fashion 40-39 to Pingree. Despite the missed shot Tankersly, a North Andover native, turned in a great performance, snagging 17 rebounds to go along with 14 points.

Christy Donovan fired a pass to Jackie Kelleher, and she slid the puck across the crease to Andover's Marina Moschitto who redirected it for a goal late in the second period to give Brooks a 1-0 season-opening victory over Cushing. Goalie Amy Leichliter made an eye-popping 39 saves for the winners.
