It took a bunch of big overtime efforts but Salem finally downed Manchester West, 84-79 in two extra sessions. Danny Salvo (eight points) drew a timely charge in the first overtime, Jonny Klecan (19 points, 10 assists, 10 of 13 from the foul line in OT) put the Blue Devils on top, Steve Nugent's putback made it a two-possession game and Ben Slepian (26 points) locked up the win with big 3-pointers and a pair of late free throws.

Timberlane's Danielle Gajewski won the 300 and was runner-up in the 55 meter dash to lead locals in the early session of state meet qualifying at UNH. Salem had a pair of winners as Alyssa Lambert prevailed in the 1,000 and Victoria Rozumek won the high jump.
