Brian Walsh pitched another complete game (10 strike outs, 8 hits, 3 earned runs) and Triton got a big win over Wilmington after a huge win over North Reading over the weekend.

Mike Calzetta dominated on the mound and at the plate in Lawrence's 10-5 triumph over Tewksbury. The junior fanned nine and allowed no walks in going the distance on the hill, adding three singles, three RBIs and a run scored offensively. Dionys Quezada walloped a solo homer in the win for the Lancers (7-2).

In a tight game, Amesbury nearly made a dramatic come-back in the bottom of the seventh, but just came up short leaving two runners stranded in scoring position to end the game. Jared Flannigan scored the Indians lone run after getting on base with a walk, stealing second, and getting hit home on a double by J.C. Collette.

Central Catholic scored three sixth-inning runs without a ball leaving the infield, turning the tide on an upset-minded Chelmsford squad for a come-from-behind 7-5 victory. In the midst of 3 2/3 innings of scoreless, no-hit relief, Pat Noone iced the victory with a two-run single as part of a 3 for 4 day at the plate, scoring twice.

Brendan Walsh pitched six strong innings to improve to 1-2 on the season in Central Catholic's 8-3 win over Billerica. Marc Crowley cracked a two-run homer in the first to set the tone for the Raiders, and Tim Wheeler was a perfect 3 for 3 at the plate.

Less than one day after falling to Amesbury, North Andover baseball rebounded with a comeback win over Ipswich. Juan Areces singled home Brad Patnaude and Aaron Brunette with the tying and go-ahead runs in the last of the sixth.

Andrew Sinkewicz struck out 11 and allowed two runs on two hits in six innings of work for the Georgetown baseball team, which beat Pentucket 9-3.

David Wesson came up big for Pelham to help the Pythons earn its second win of the season.  The shortstop had three hits, two of which were home runs.  He had five RBIs then came in to pitch the final 12/3 to earn the save.

David Wesson blasted a pair of home runs, finishing the day with three hits and five RBIs, and pitched the final 1 2/3 to earn the save as Pelham edged Kearsarge 8-7.

Northeastern-bound Matt Novak fell just short of a no-hitter, settling for a one-hit gem as Central Catholic downed Dracut 3-1. Darren Infante's RBI double sparked the offense.
