The junior fanned nine and allowed no walks in going the distance on the hill, adding three singles, three RBIs and a run scored offensively. Dionys Quezada walloped a solo homer in the win for the Lancers (7-2).

Hamilton-Wenham 2, Amesbury 1

In a tight game, Amesbury nearly made a dramatic come-back in the bottom of the seventh, but just came up short leaving two runners stranded in scoring position to end the game. Jared Flannigan scored the Indians lone run after getting on base with a walk, stealing second, and getting hit home on a double by J.C. Collette.

Central Catholic scored three sixth-inning runs without a ball leaving the infield, turning the tide on an upset-minded Chelmsford squad for a come-from-behind 7-5 victory. In the midst of 3 2/3 innings of scoreless, no-hit relief, Pat Noone iced the victory with a two-run single as part of a 3 for 4 day at the plate, scoring twice.
