Read More »Methuen freshman Xavier Metivier ran 5:46 for a mile time this first week of practice. Yesterday he averaged 5:46 for 3.1 miles and his splendid effort was necessary. He was the No. 6 Ranger runner and broke the 28-28 tie with North Andover. Jacob St. Onge of Methuen ran a personal best and placed fifth among the five teams. The day's overall top runner was the Knights' Patrick Kitchen.
