Londonderry's Ana Milosavljevic placed in the top six in three events (200 freestyle, 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke) at a multi-school swim meet at Oyster River.

Freshman Miranda An of North Andover won the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly and swam on the winning 200 medley relay team to lead unbeaten Phillips past Deerfield.

CAMBRIDGE — Rachel Moore shed a few tears while huddling with teammates Ashlee Korsberg, Alexa Korsberg and Maggie D'Innocenzo before swimming the 400 freestyle relay yesterday.

She knew it was her last high school race. 

Deborah Daly set an Andover school record for diving (490.05), while Ashlee Korsberg set a meet record in the 500 yard freestyle (4:56.39).

Andover swimming won big, posting 398.5 points — 199.5 more points than second-place Acton-Boxborough at the North Sectional swimming and diving championship at Havard last night.

Sophomore Kelly Lennon, who hadn't been in the pool since last Thursday due to a respiratory infection, showed no rust as she was a double-winner at the MVC Division 2 meet. Lennon led Methuen to a third-place finish. Abby Tremblay, a senior captain, was a mainstay in the relays.

The power outtages in Andover prevented the Andover High swim team from practicing for an entire week, but the Golden Warriors were still able to surge to victory in the MVC Division 1 championship last night with 549 points.

Rachel Moore won the 100 butterfly (56.86), Maggie D'Innocenzo took the 100 freestyle (53.43) and 100 breaststroke (1:07.31), Ashlee Korsberg won the 500 freestyle (5:05.99) and they teamed with Emma Cammann to win the 200 medley relay and Alexa Korsberg to take the 400 freestyle relay as Andover beat Chelmsford 102-79.

Methuen senior quad-captains Alli Pisani, Allie Hawkes, Colleen Heggarty and Abby Tremblay won the 400 freestyle relay in 4:45.77. It was a memorable accomplishment since it was the last regular season meet of their careers and the first time they ever swam in the same relay. Another highlight in the Rangers' 103-72 win over St. Peter Marian was Jillian Tascherau set a personal best in winning the 200 freestyle.

Methuen only won five events outright, but the Rangers went 2-3-4 in three events in a 98-86 swimming victory over Lowell. Kelly Lennon won two events and was on the winning 400 freestyle relay for the Rangers (5-5).

Maggie Franklin stood out for Haverhill winning the 50 freestyle, the 100 breaststroke and taking part on two winning relays as the Hillies defeated Central Catholic 99-69 to finish the regular season at 8-2.
