HAVERHILL — The Central Catholic swim team handed Haverhill its second loss of the year, posting a 102-84 win over the Hillies.

The Raiders improved to 9-2 and the hosts fell to 8-2.

Andover still perfect

Andover won the battle of unbeatens with Acton-Boxboro by a 93-85 score. Andover improved to 11-0 while the Colonials dropped to 9-1.
Individual winners for Andover in that one were Mia Galat (200 freestyle, 100 butterfly), Emily Clements (100 free, 100 backstroke), Rachel Landry (200 IM), Victoria Ambrose (500 free) and Jordy Clements (100 breaststroke).

Andover beat Billerica 98-78, getting wins from Vic Ambrose in the 200 IM, 200 freestyle relay and the 100 breaststroke. The win was a tune-up for the 10-0 Warriors' showdown with fellow unbeaten Acton-Boxboro Friday.

Haverhill swimming trailed Chelmsford by two points going into the last event, but captured first and third in the 400-meter freestyle relay to pull out the 94-92 win. Taylor Waligora, Callie Coady, Katelyn Quinlan and Meaghan Driscoll took first in the decisive race with a time of 3:58.27.
