Sachem thriller

Ben Brackbill and Max Jackson fought off three match points in the third set and won a wild 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (7-5) match at second doubles to give Pentucket a 3-2 win over fellow CAL power Masconomet. That clinched Pentucket's second straight CAL Kinney Division title. Another highlight was Connor Aulson winning 6-2, 6-0 at first singles over Alex Fizz, who beat him two weeks ago.

In a battle of 6-0 powerhouses, Andover made a statement with a 4-1 win over defending Division 1 state champ Lexington. Coach Mike Wartman has well over 500 wins but this has to be one of the most special. His Golden Warriors swept the singles with Ryan Fu winning at No. 1 Andrew Imrie at No. 2 and Drew Rooks at No. 3. The second doubles team of Owen Meech-Arman Rafiee gutted out a 6-7, 6-3 (10-8) win.
