Salem and Timberlane battled tooth and nail yesterday, and the Blue Devils won all the odd-numbered matches to eke out a 5-4 victory.

Jared Scali and Blaise Arden combined for an 8-3 victory at third doubles to snap the deadlock.

In a battle at the top of the league standings, Londonderry remains unbeaten (8-0) with an easy 8-1 decision over Pinkerton. Alex Burbine pitched a shutout at first singles to aid the Lancers' cause. The doubles team of Sam Eaton and Rob Giles earned the lone point for the Astros (8-2).
