Big night for Lancers

 

On a night dedicated to legendary Lancer and Spectrum Gymnastics coach Barbara Beltremini, who passed away last spring, the Londonderry girls gymnasts strutted their stuff, knocking off Manchester Central, 125.45-106.7. Cari O'Shea led the way in the win, capturing the beam and the all-around with a 31.8 total.

Triumphant return

 

Injured sophomore standout Olivia Bogaczyk returned for unbeaten Pinkerton (12-0) to compete in the all-around for the first time all season and came away as the winner with a score of 34.4. She also won three of the four individual events.

North Andover was unaccustomed to Peabody not having a spring floor, but still managed a 134.00-129.75 win. The Knights, who improved to 6-1, still dominated the event with Kristen DiTroia coming in second and Jessica Whitehead and Anne Lafond tying for third.

Superb senior night

Senior captain Rachel Madison placed first in the all-around with a 37.15 which helped Andover beat Tewksbury 139-107. Madison also holds the school records in the all-around along with the beams, bars, and floor.

North Andover improves to 6-1

Jessica Whitehead finished second in the all-around (34.2) to help North Andover beat Masconomet 135.3-134.6 in girls gymnastics.

Whithead also placed second in the floor (9.1) and tied for third in the beam (8.3).
