Notre Dame's girls hoop team seized control early and surged through the second half to a convincing 58-31 defeat of Rockport. Center Jessica Brito had a breakthrough game for the Hurricanes with 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Yaniery Martinez delivered 15 points while sophomore point guard Shanelle Bonilla added 5 points, 8 assists and 3 steals with no turnovers.
