Allen Williamson, Pingree: A junior forward, Williamson shot 13 for 16 from the field and finished with 33 points and 14 rebounds in Pingree's win over Lexington Christian last Thursday. Williamson is averaging 20.2 points for the season.

Ryan O'Connell, St. John's Prep: The Bowdoin-bound senior guard had 30 points on 12 of 22 shooting (6 for 7 on 3-pointers) in the Prep's 60-43 loss to BC High on Friday night. O'Connell is the co-leader in scoring on the North Shore with a 24.6 average.

Junior Lugo, Salem, Mass., High: Had 22 points in the Witches tough 65-55 road win over Swampscott Tuesday night. Led by Lugo, who is averaging 19.9, Salem has won two consecutive road games to improve to 3-3.

Jordan Mickens, Brooks: His 28-point performance carried Brooks to its most impressive win of the year, over St. Sebastien’s. The surprise of the early season, Brooks is now 6-2.

Greg Cook, Andover: The Warriors’ vocal heart-and-soul put his money where his game is, tossing in 17 points, to help keep his team in the game, a tough loss to No. 1 Central. The senior guard is scoring 8.8 points a game.

Tom Lavin, Phillips Andover: In need of a victory, Lavin scored 23 points, including six straight free throws down the stretch, leading Phillips to a 67-61 win over Choate.

Adrian Gonzalez, Central Catholic: Apparently healthy after a strained oblique, Bentley-bound Adrian Gonzalez tossed in 10 points off the bench in the Raiders 50-43 win over Andover.

Charlie Roche, Haverhill: The junior was huge as the surprising Hillies played to two tough losses, by two to Dracut and by one in overtime to Lawrence.

Edwin Gonzalez, Methuen: The senior stepped up huge with high-scoring Romeo Diaz out with a sprained ankle. Gonzalez, now averaging 13.2 points a game, tossed in 24 in a big Ranger win over Billerica.

Ricky Costa, Pelham: The senior guard put up back-to-back 19-pont nights for Pelham, which has now won four of the last five.

Rob Verreault, Sanborn: The Indians rebound machine put up back-to-back double-doubles as Sanborn won two straight games for the first time since the 2002-2003 season.

Drew Smith, Timberlane: The senior hotshot tossed in 36 as the Owls cracked the win column in Class L, dousing Memorial.
