A season after a fractured back threatened to end her gymnastics career, Andover's Jessie Livingston won the all-around with a career-best 36.825 at the MVC Division 1 meet. The Golden Warriors placed second as a team.
"Everyone was so excited for Jessie," said Warriors coach Kristen Vadala. "She has come a long way since last year. She is winning like we all knew she was capable of.
"But she is never satisfied. She won, but was upset she messed up a little on bars. She is so passionate."
Livingston's night was highlighted by seconds in the vault, bars and beam. Freshman teammate Courtney Carver was second in the all-around with a 36.05.
"We were very happy for Courtney," said Vadala. "She is doing a great job."
Methuen placed third, led by Zach Smith's win in the vault.
