SUFFIELD, Conn. — Suffield Academy took advantage of four Phillips Academy interceptions and rolled to a 34-0 win.
The hosts were led by 6-4, 285-pound lineman Christian Wilkins, who is being wooed by Penn State, BC and a host of other bigtime schools.
"He was everything we thought he'd be and more," said Big Blue coach Leon Modeste.
Phillips (1-4) received strong defensive play from end Max Anthony (11 tackles 1 sack), middle linebacker Dane Wagner (7 tackles) and tackle A.J. McFarlane (7 tackles).
Phillips will host Deerfield Saturday on Parents Weekend.
