BOSTON — Andover’s Devin Connell and Pentucket’s Saige Tudisco were among the top local performers at Sunday’s All-State Indoor Track Championships, placing third in the 1,000-meter run and the high jump respectively.

Connell, who won the MVC championship in the 1,000 and placed third last week at Division 1 states, placed third again with a time of 2:31.83 in a photo finish with Lexington’s Thomas Lingard (2:31.19) and Acton-Boxboro’s Colin Grip (2:31.26).

Tudisco, meanwhile, tied her own school record by clearing 5-4 in the high jump. That tied her for third with two others and was two inches behind first place Zoe Dainton of Hingham and Julia Jordahl-Henr (both 5-6).

“Saige was outstanding in the high jump,” said Pentucket coach Steve Derro. “Making it into the meet as a wild card and then placing third overall was a nice surprise.”

Andover’s Owen Mosher was the only other local boy to place, finishing fifth in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 7.80. Connell and Mosher’s combined point totals helped the Golden Warriors tie for 14th as a team with 10 points.

For the girls, North Reading’s Juliette Nadeau joined her Cape Ann League rival on the podium after finishing fourth in the long jump (17-8 1/2). Lawrence’s RosaLinda Rosario placed fifth in the 55-meter hurdles (8.67), and Central Catholic had two eighth place finishers, with Sarah Freeman running a 5:14.93 in the mile and Amanda Fay throwing 35-6 in the shot put.

In the relays, the top performance locally was the Andover girls 4x400 relay team. The group of Hannah Lansberry, Emma Joel, Julianna Kennedy and Delia Barbanti finished third, running a time of 4:01.33.

Newton North won the boys team title with 34 points, followed by Lexington (31), Milton (25) and St. John’s Prep (24), while Milton won the girls title with 38 points, followed by Natick (35), Newton South (32) and Tewksbury (31).
