Caeden Dillman had the natural hat trick in the first period and Andover continued to play some of the best hockey in the state with a 3-1 win over St. John's of Shrewsbury, which fell to 12-6-3. Dillman scored just 23 seconds in and had two in four minutes.
Monday the Golden Warriors blanked defending Super 8 champ Arlington.
The Warriors (12-5-2), who have battled through tremendous hardship in recent weeks, will try to continue their inspired play against host Newburyport Friday at 7 p.m. in the championship game of the Newburyport Bank Classic.
