Tourney berth through teamwork

With assists on all but one goal, North Reading exhibited strong team play in its 15-1 lacrosse win over Malden. Defensemen Brian Smith and Chris Schipelliti played very well in the near shutout as the Hornets (10-1) qualified for state tourney play faster than any other season in the program's history.

Tri-captain Ben Warren stepped up big for Georgetown as his six-point effort drove an 11-7 lacrosse win over Triton. "He really controlled the tempo," head coach Matt Bouchard said. "Ben took a strong leadership role. I told him to settle the ball and control it and he did. This was his best game of the year without question."
