Haverhill's boys swimming team, which had lost to Central Catholic earlier in the season, got some revenge with a 99-87 victory over the Raiders. Superior depth paid off for the Hillies, especially with a sweep in the 50 freestyle, where Pak Kraiwong edged teammates James Murray and George Bonner.

Senior captain Mike Panagiatakos won the 100 breaststroke and swam on the winning 200 medley relay and football star Devon Lattrell was also a double winner to lead Central Catholic in a loss to Lowell.

Josh DiMattia started diving only about two weeks ago, but he scored a 136.25 to win the event and help Haverhill win 92-82 over Burlington in boys swimming.

Sean Driscoll won the 500 freestyle (5:36.68) and 200 IM (2:22.51) while also helping Haverhill's 200 medley relay win in 1:56.71.

Dan Lefebvre qualified for states in the 200 IM (2:11.29) as Central won 89-72 over Belmont in boys swimming.

Owen O'Leary posted personal bests in the 200 freestyle (2:06.91) and 100 backstroke (1:07.45).

Max Koffman qualified for sectionals in the 200 freestyle (1:56.44) and Connor Cronin qualified for sectionals in the 500 freestyle (5:20.83) but Haverhill lost 102-82 to Chelmsford in boys swimming. 

Andover edged BC High 96-90 in swimming behind Dave Hunter who won two individual events and was on two winning relays. John Belanger also stood out for the Warriors (4-0).

Dave Iannalfo won the 100 butterfly (57.35), Dave Hunter took the 100 freestyle (50.09) and they teamed with Stan Camin and John Belanger to win the 200 medley relay as Andover topped Lowell 100-81. Stan's little brother Vince Camin took the 100 breaststroke.

Strong depth led Haverhill to a 90-86 swimming victory over Pinkerton. George Bonner paced a Hillie sweep in the 100 butterfly while the team added top-two finishes in three other events.

Junior David Kitchen won the 200 and 500 freestyle and was on the winning 200 medley relay team as Central Catholic swam past Haverhill 85-80. Nick Roy won the 100 butterfly and 200 IM and was on the winning 400 freestyle relay for Haverhill.
