Aramian shines for Hillies

The Haverhill girls swimming team defeated Melrose 89-79 behind a strong showing from Cali Aramian. The senior co-captain had wins in the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke. She was on both of Haverhill's winning relay teams, the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay.

Meghan an impact

Meghan O'Connor placed in four events to lead Windham to fifth at the state Division 2 swim meet. The junior came in second in the 100-yard butterfly (1:02.25) and fourth in the 100 backstroke (1:03.31) before helping the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays finish third and sixth respectively.

The Greater Lawrence co-ed team beat Minuteman 89-78 for its first win since the 2009-10 season."We are pumped!" gushed coach Jen Dube. Juan Garcia won two events and a relay and Dan Gomez won the diving and was on the winning 200 medley quartet.
