Pelham topped Oyster River, 5-4, in yesterday's Class I quarterfinals. The Pythons advance to take on Souhegan in the semis.

Londonderry fell to Bishop Guertin in the Class L quarterfinals, 5-4. Alex Burbine was a double-winner for the Lancers, taking first singles 8-1 and pairing with Tyler Palmieri to win first doubles 8-5. Londonderry finishes 11-4.

Andrew Mack keyed a 4-1 Andover victory over Boston Latin Academy out of the third singles spot with a 6-0, 6-0 win. Both doubles teams of Shane Huggins/Nitin Mahesh and Christian Waters/Injoong Yoon were perfect at 6-0, 6-0, as well.

Christian Waters, who went 6-0, 6-0 in third singles, led Andover in a 5-0 romp over Central Catholic. The doubles group of Andrew Gray and Graeme Johnson rebounded after being tested in the first game to win 7-5, 6-0. The Golden Warrior girls also beat the Raiders, 4-1, highlighted by Maggie Carter's 6-0, 6-0 win in third singles.

Pentucket's Brandon Caan won his singles match (6-2, 6-2). B.G. Smith and Nick Giannino won at first doubles (4-6, 6-4, 6-3) for the Sachems (4-12). Justin Hackett and Cam Fowler won at second doubles (6-3, 6-3).

Newburyport's Nick Filipancic improved his record to 12-2 with a 6-1, 6-0 victory. Nick Ross (6-4, 6-0) and Matt Mogren (6-1, 6-0) also won singles matches for the Clippers (9-5).

B.G. Smith and Nick Giannino won their first doubles match (6-4, 6-2) for Pentucket (3-12). Cam Roberts and Brandon Conn won at second doubles (6-0, 3-6, 6-3).

Undefeated Exeter proved to be too powerful, knocking off a strong Salem squad, 7-2. Nick Noshirwani and Maike Michalczyk picked up points for the Blue Devils (11-2) with victories in singles.

 In his second match as a singles player, former doubles standout Larry Bou won No. 3 singles 6-1, 6-1 as Methuen edged Billerica 3-2.

With the doubles tandem of Kevin Brosnan and Patrick Rubin playing their best match of the season, North Reading rolled to a 5-0 non-league victory over Malden. Brosnan and Rubin won, 6-2, 6-3 in second doubles for the Hornets (12-3), complementing Jason Pacino, who prevailed at first singles to remain unbeaten in dual meets (14-0) while not losing a set.
