The North Andover girls track team kicked the season off with a pair of victories against Pentucket (51.5-34.5) and Wilmington (58-28). Particularly impressive in the Scarlet Knights' 2-0 showing were Karissa Mako (2-0 in the 2-mile, 12:18.2), Shannon O'Connor (2-0 in the 300, 43.4) and Emily Samuelman (2-0 in the 600, 1:49.4). Candace Waldie (31-0 throw in the shot put) and Krissey Whitley (4-9 height in the high jump) also posted two wins.
