Liv Cross poured in a game-high 18 points to lift Pentucket to its seventh straight victory, 57-20, over Notre Dame (Hingham).

A tightly contested game got away late as Pentucket finished off Newburyport with a 13-1 run, pulling out a 44-32 win. Angelina Yacubacci led the Sachems with 16 points and Liv Cross added 9, while the defense held each of Newburyport's best players to under 10 points.

The Sachems took off early and never looked back in a dominant 65-28 showing over Manchester Essex. Jess Galvin led the Sachem with 14 points, Casey Hunt had 10 points and Angelina Yacubacci tallied eight.

Pentucket girls basketball started the season off in dominating fashion, beating Lynnfield 70-18 on opening night. The Sachems only allowed two points the entire second half, and offensively Bella Doyle (14 points) and Angelina Yacubacci (13 points) led the way.
