Odds and ends: The 16-win output matched the best Reggie performance in 16 years (16-4 in 1990-91). The last time the Reggies won more games was the 19-3 club in 1988-89. ... Previous coach Chet Jackson stepped down after four seasons (49-38 record) to accept an administrative position in North Andover. ... New coach Dan Habib teaches at Greater Lawrence and is a member of the school's hall of fame. He had been the head coach the last 19 years at Timberlane Regional (195-213 record). ... Nate Adames and Jonathan Delossantos got late starts as they were busy starring for the Eastern Mass. Division 3A champion Super Bowl team. ... The Reggies were hurt by Ramon Rozon (16.8 ppg last year as a sophomore) not returning.

Coach: Dan Habib (1st year): "Hector Heredia will get the point guard position. We'll have Leandro Valdez and Yeltsin Colon up front, and Donald Celestin and Kelvin Correa will be starting. I think we are in a rebuilding stage with all these young kids."
