Georgetown's baseball team pulled off the win of the year, knocking off unbeaten Masconomet 5-4 behind the arm and bat of junior Alex Bornholdt. He pitched three innings of relief, allowing just one hit, and delivered the winning RBI in the bottom of the seventh with a long sacrifice fly, driving in Mike Goddu. In the last 11 innings over four days, he has two wins and allowed only three hits.

Ryan Slack added a solo home run for the Royals (7-5) and Kyle Nelson was 2 for 2 and scored a run.

"Definitely a huge win for us," said Georgetown coach Justin Spurr
