It was a familiar scene for the Windham golf team. Unlike last year the final wasn't decided by a tie-breaker, but similar to last year the team finished second.
A total of 406 was just seven strokes shy of tying winner Hanover for the Division II golf championship at Breakfast Hill Country Club on Thursday afternoon.
James Mckee was fantastic for Windham. His 70 was the best on the course by six strokes. This will certainly help his chances at taking home the individuals champioship which will be played on Saturday. McKee will have a few familiar faces to look to on Saturday.
Four Jaguars will be competing on Saturday. Andoni Tsoukalas, Christian Bassi, and Nico Nardone all placed under the cut line. Windham is second only to Hanover, who will have five golfers represented. Together, Hanover and Windham combine for over a third of the field on Sunday.
While Windham was not able to bring home the championship, McKee is certainly the front-runner to win indivuduals again. McKee won by a dominating ten strokes last year, and is positoned to blow out the field again on Saturday.
