Casey Shea potted the game-winner for Woburn in overtime to give Andover a heart-breaking 2-1 defeat to end its season in the Division 1 North first round.
The Golden Warriors scored with just 3.5 seconds left in regulation when Joe Kuta won a faceoff to Matt Swett, who tied the score.
"It went just as we drew it up," said head coach Mario Martiniello. "We won the draw clean and the play went exactly like we wanted it to."
But it wasn't meant to be.
Woburn scored on Shea's individual effort, swooping behind the net and going high-glove on goalie Kyle Berthiaume.
"There was nothing (Berthiaume) could have done about it," Martiniello said. "It was just a perfect shot."
