Alex Emery tied the game with 6:27 left and Brad McGovern netted the game-winner with just 32 seconds to play as Haverhill took a dramatic 3-2 decision over Triton in the Newburyport Bank Classic.
Matt Fairburn kept the Hillies in it with 38 saves.
"Brad had a hurt shoulder and only played three shifts,'' said coach Spike Sprague. "He's been a tough kid all year. He's been banged up. When he saw the game was on the line he said, 'I'm ready to go coach.' Fairburn was just outstanding. He held the fort. He was absolutely tremendous.''
The Hillies will play Revere tomorrow in the title game at 7 p.m. at the Graf Rink.
