Phillips Academy opened its season with a 33-30 victory over St. Paul's to give first-year coach Kassie Archambault a victory in her debut. Andover's Arnav Bhakta opened the meet with a 6-5 decision at 113 and freshman Colin Nugent from Boxford had a 6-2 decision at 138 in his first meet.

Karoline Conte and Isobel Glass each scored to lead Phillips girls soccer to a 2-1 win over St. Paul's. The victory was the 200th career one for 21-year coach Lisa Joel, whose overall record now moves to 200-101-55.

Rachel Moore pitched a two-hitter, striking out 10, and Jacquelyn Harrington hit a solo home run as Phillips won the opener of the Big East tournament, 1-0.

Jen Mills and Mia LaPlante both had three hits with LaPlante scoring three times and winning pitcher Sara Moeller had three RBIs as Brooks defeated St. Paul's, 10-3.

Phillips came up just short, losing, 8-6, to St. Paul's, but still had a standout performance from sophomore goalie Kennedy Everson, who made 25 saves and kept Phillips in the game. Senior Meg Ward added three goals to lead the team.

North Andover's Caroline Kukas was 4 for 4, with 3 doubles and, 5 RBI's and scored twice to pace Brooks to a 15-0 rout of St. Paul's. Haverhill's Jenn Mills threw a no hitter and struck out 6 in five innings.

Freshman Aidan Burt of Andover stayed unbeaten in singles and won his doubles match as Phillips Academy blanked St. Paul's 7-0.

Dallion Johnson of Haverhill had five 3-pointers and 25 points to pace Phillips Academy to its first win ogf the season, 76-44 over St. Paul's.

Freshman Anna Bargman scored in the first half and fellow Boxford resident Alexa Matses (10 saves) made it stand up as Phillips field hockey shaded St. Paul's, 1-0, in the New England Prep Class A semifinals.
