CAMBRIDGE — Rachel Moore shed a few tears while huddling with teammates Ashlee Korsberg, Alexa Korsberg and Maggie D'Innocenzo before swimming the 400 freestyle relay yesterday.
She knew it was her last high school race.

Read More »Methuen senior quad-captains Alli Pisani, Allie Hawkes, Colleen Heggarty and Abby Tremblay won the 400 freestyle relay in 4:45.77. It was a memorable accomplishment since it was the last regular season meet of their careers and the first time they ever swam in the same relay. Another highlight in the Rangers' 103-72 win over St. Peter Marian was Jillian Tascherau set a personal best in winning the 200 freestyle.

Methuen only won five events outright, but the Rangers went 2-3-4 in three events in a 98-86 swimming victory over Lowell. Kelly Lennon won two events and was on the winning 400 freestyle relay for the Rangers (5-5).

Sarah won the 50 freestyle (24.43) and the 100 freestyle (54.07). Meaghan won the 100 breastroke (1:23.45). The two also helped the 200 medley relay team and the 200 freestyle relay team earn victories.
