Presentation of Mary repelled Greater Lawrence's last-second shot to win its sixth straight, 50-49.

Taryn Capozzi (10 points) scored off an inbounds play with a minute left to give PMA the lead, then Amari Spears (team-high 14 points) rejected a Reggies shot to preserve the victory.

Shabeli Villa poured in a season-high 24 points to lead Greater Lawrence girls basketball 58-44 over Minuteman. 

Villa scored 45 points combined in two games against Minuteman this season. 

After a heartbreaking, buzzer-beating loss to Haverhill the night before, Lawrence bounced back for its first girls hoop victory of the season, 49-37 over Greater Lawrence. Smothering team defense got the Lancers a 26-point lead through three quarters as freshman guard Kiandra Vasquez led the way with 14 points and 10 assists.

Jasmin Serrano led the defense, Carina Zepeda played a fine all-around game and Shabelli Villa (19) and Escarlin Reynoso (17) were the offensive stars as Greater Lawrence buried Lynn Tech 56-31.

Kiana Rodriguez hitter a 3-pointer wiht less than a minute to play.

Shabeli Villa scored 22 points, including netting four 3-pointers, but Greater Lawrence lost  65-35 to Shawsheen.

Freshmen Kayla Riley (17) and Andrea Terranova (11) and senior Catherine Roche (10) hit double figures as Whittier downed Greater Lawrence 70-44.

Notre Dame of Lawrence's girls edged Greater Lawrence 43-37 in overtime. Yanerry Martinez led Notre Dame with 18 points while Jessica Brito had 10 rebounds and six blocked shots. Shabeli Villa led the Reggies with 20 points.
