Sam Bomba was outstanding in goal as Pentucket nipped Amesbury/Whittier 2-1. Bonba had 36 saves including 19 in the third period qhwn the Sachems were outshot 19-2.

Freshman Tabor Smith assisted on the goal along with junior Tucker Holt, who earned his first varsity point with that helper. Junior Evan King (18 saves) withstood a late Pentucket enslaught to secure the win.

Ryan Sweeney scored twice and the other North Andover goals were by Derek Hunter (shorthanded) and Ricky O’Connor. Ian Mitchell scored for the Sachems.
