MANCHESTER, N.H. — Nothing worked for Salem last night — nothing. 

Concord jumped out to a 20-0 lead in the first half, and although Salem battled hard from start to finish, the Blue Devils just couldn't shut down the Crimson Tide, falling 34-14.

Jason Martinez scored on a 6-yard run and Jacob Lakos scored on a 1-yard run but Memorial beat Salem 15-12.

Salem battled defending Division 1 champion Exeter evenly in the first half, but the Blue Hawks' relentless offense finally broke through in the final 24 minutes for a 35-6 victory.

NASHUA — One week after dropping a 35-point decision in its season opener, Salem fell behind by 36 in its Division 1 opener. And although the Blue Devils rallied in the second half, it wasn't enough to overcome Nashua South, which rolled to a 43-19 victory.

Keene's offense was unstoppable in a 62-27 romp over Salem. Ryan Nichols hit Jacob Poore on three long TD passes for Salem.
