Tyler Lee fired six innings of shutout ball to lead North Andover to a 10-4 win over Methuen in the consolation game in the Lawrence Invitational.

Evan Lacroix allowed just a single hit and one unearned run, retiring the final 17 batters he faced on the way to giving Methuen a 4-1 victory over Dracut.

After a couple of strong efforts but minimal offense, John Parsons' bases-loaded double in the first inning signalled a positive change for Central Catholic in a 9-0 whitewashing of Methuen. Brady Abraham cracked a solo homer in the fifth inning and leadoff hitter Anthony Licari kickstarted the attack by getting on base three times.

Powered by J.T. Ruth (two hits including a double, RBI, run scored) and Dan Burrows (two hits, RBI, run scored), Haverhill erupted for six third-inning runs in a 7-2 win over Methuen. Jonathan Pierce had a double and a run scored for Methuen.

Methuen rallied from an early 6-0 deficit. Brian Cole's bases-clearing in the fourth was the big blow. Enrique Veras pitched a shutout seventh for his second save.

Andrew Deloury got the offense cranking with a second-inning grand slam and Andover didn't let up in a 13-3 victory over Methuen. Junior Tim Awiszus (three hits) stroked a pair of doubles, driving in three runs, while Nate Giammasi also plated three runs with his two-hit effort.

Jonathan Pierce drove in all three runs in Methuen's 3-2 win over Tewksbury. He stroked a two-run single in the first inning and a RBI double in the third.
