Behind Abby Galloway-Burke's eight-goal explosion, Methuen lacrosse bounced Salem from the Division 1 state tourney, 12-10. Shaley Horan, Kristina Cottone and Alex Comerford were defensive standouts for the 14th seed Rangers, who will next face No. 3 North Andover tomorrow night in first round play.

With her six goals yesterday, Abby Galloway-Burke surpassed the 100-point mark for the season and helped Methuen 19-11 over Malden. 

She has 87 goals and 17 assists for a total of 104 points.

Kristy Robertson continued her assault on the area, scoring 11 goals to lead Haverhill past red-hot Methuen 21-13.

Abby Galloway-Burke had nine goals and eight draw controls to lead Methuen lacrosse 23-11 over Dracut. 

Kristy Robertson fired in 11 goals for Haverhill, but it wasn't quite enough as the Hillies fell to Methuen in a scorefest, 22-21. Ktisti Coutu scored seven goals for Methuen (5-1).
