Eric Kerr and Tom Arseneault  each convincingly knocked off top-seeded opponents to win championships at the Division III state wrestling tournament.

Kerr captured the 126-pound title with a 4-0 victory over Bradley Lupiani of Mt. Eveerett while Kane scored a 5-2 decision over Wakefield's Alex Kane at 220 pounds.

DANVERS — North reading/Lynnfield used its depth to win the team title for the second straight year and Georgetown's Constantine Galanis and Pentucket's Josh Wesolowski stood out individually at the Division 3 North sectional at Danvers.

North Reading/Lynnfield remained unbeaten (18-0) with a sweep of Triton, Melrose and Southwick, giving it 43 straight wins over the last two years. Joey Wise and Tom Arseneault both wrestled in two weight classes and were 3-0 on the day while Eric Kerr (126) and Lucas Pascucci (132) were 3-0 in their weight divisions.

North Reading's Joey Wise had two big wins, including one over Bellingham's top returning sectional placer, as North Reading/Lynnfield remained unbeaten (12-0) with a quad-meet sweep over Saugus, Salem and Bellingham. Max Robert was also 2-0 on the day for North Reading.
