Windham's wrestling team showed its growth as a program by winning the Pelham Invitational for the second straight year.

Despite heavy graduation losses, the Jaguars scored 199 points, placing in 10 weight classes, to outpace runner-up Hollis-Brookline by 28 points.

Royals roll on

 

Georgetown's wrestling team, which won only five meets all of last year, improved to 9-4-1 with a 39-18 victory over Minuteman. Constantine Galanis had the fastest of five pins for the Royals, in 46 seconds.

Surprising Georgetown won three meets to improve to 8-4-1. Eighth grader Mark Mansfield was 3-0 at 126 and Derek Chamberlain was 4-0 at 195 to lead the way. Constantine Galanis was 3-1 at 138 and leads the team with 21 victories.
