Pentucket's girls scored five points in the last 12 seconds to tie it in regulation and then knocked off Newburyport in overtime, 52-44. Kelsi McNamara scored 18 of her 28 points in the fourth quarter and overtime and McKenna Kilian added 14 points for the Sachems (16-4), sending it into overtime with a baseline jumper with seven seconds left.

Pentucket's girls won its third big game, defeating previously unbeaten Lynnfield 45-41, and fior the third straight time had to rally to do it. Trailing 25-18 at halftime and 33-29 after three quarters, the Sachems (7-3) rallied behind Kelsi McNamara, who scored all of her 14 points in the second half and nine in the pivotal fourth quarter. Carolyn Modlish had a big game underneath with 12 rebounds and McKenna Kilian had eight points and eight rebounds.

Pentucket's girls basketball team avenged an earlier two-point loss to Hamilton-Wenham with a 59-50 victory over the Generals. Kelsi McNamara led the Sachems (5-3) with 17 points while Riley Holden keyed a huge 28-13 fourth quarter by scoring all of her 11 points in that frame.
