North Andover ousts Central

Leah Chittick scored seven goals to lead top-seeded North Andover to a 14-6 victory over No. 8 Central Catholic in the quarterfinals of the Division 1 North tournament. Michelle Poirier added four goals and Abbie Karalis scored three times for the Scarlet Knights, who will next take on the winner of today's matchup between Masconomet and Woburn.

Eight is great

Kelly Daigle netted eight goals to lead Central Catholic 15-5 over Methuen in the first round of the girls lacrosse Division 1 North tournament. 

Central advanced to play  top-seeded North Andover tomorrow at 7 p.m. at North Andover High.

Palmisano For The Win

Despite losing a four-goal halftime advantage, Central Catholic's girls lacrosse team escaped with a narrow 11-10 win over Woburn. Jenna Palmisano was the hero, netting the game-winner with just 12 seconds remaining. Kelly Daigle led the Raiders with six goals.

Scores 100th goal

 

Kelly Daigle scored her 100th and 101st career goals, tying her for most goals in Central Catholic girls lacrosse history with  Courtney O'Neil as the Raiders blitzed Medford 12-2. Jenna Palmisano had four goals and three assists for Central (4-3).
