Owls' hot duo


Kate Hoadley threw a one-hitter, striking out eight, and freshman Kylie Fitzpatrick had two hits and three RBIs as unbeaten Timberlane (7-0) defeated Winnacunnet 6-1. Hoadley has given up just five hits in her last three games combined and Fitzpatrick, who leads the team in RBIs, has at least two hits in six straight games.

Terrific Towler

 

Rachel Towler threw a no-hitter, striking out 13, as Salem blanked Winnacunnet 7-0. She did not walk a batter and allowed just one baserunner, who reached on an error. Freshman Brianna Marino got her first varsity hit with a two-run single.
