After Eagle-Tribune all-star goalie Paul DeMaio went down with a freak injury during warmups, sophomore Sam Naftal was called upon to make his first career start in North Andover's state tournament opener against Tech Boston Academy. North Andover won 5-2 after getting two goals each from Cam Twomey and Stephen Stabile along with another from Doug Starett.
