Trailing 6-1 at the half, the Salem boys lacrosse team roared back to win a pivotal game at Dover, 10-9, in overtime.
Nick Gore tied things with a pretty goal, his third of the night, with just over 2:12 left in regulation.
Then, in overtime, Salem smartly killed a penalty, with the ball in the Dover end. Back at full strength, the Devils went for the kill, putting the ball in the stick of marksman, Drew Hailey.
Hailey pushed to the net, found some space to operate and netted the game-winner to claim the victory.
Hailey scored four times on the night in the victory.
