Whittier held a 1-0 lead the majority of the game, but Essex Tech scored with four minutes left to level the game. The Wildcats were not to be denied however, getting a goal from Elaisha Dathus on a nice crossing pass from Josh O'Brien with under a minute left for the 2-1 victory.
