Nyah Mazzone knocked down four 3-pointers on her way to 16 points and Kayla Allbee chipped in with a game-high 17 points as Methuen downed Malden 70-46.

Methuen beat Malden 70-46 led by Kayla Allbee with 17 points and Makayla Ferullo and Nyah Mazzone with 16 each.

Methuen sophomore Kayla Albee scored a career-high 21 points as the Rangers beat Somerville 57-40.

Makayla Ferullo exploded for seven 3-pointers on her way to 22 points, but it wasn't enough as Methuen fell to Dracut 64-62. 

Abbey Battaini had four 3-pointers and 17 points, giving her 10 3-pointers in the last two games, as Haverhill defeated Methuen 53-40.

The Methuen girls basketball team earned its first win of the season in a 57-35 victory over MVC rival Lawrence. The Rangers were led by 17 points from Nyah Mazzone and 11 from freshmen Olivia Barron. Lawrence's Telaisha Solier led all scorers with 23 points on five 3-pointers.

Eagle-Tribune super teamer Jillian Webber returned to the court for her first game of the season, after sitting out the first six games with a shoulder injury, to help Andover beat Methuen 84-52.
