The Methuen girls basketball team earned its first win of the season in a 57-35 victory over MVC rival Lawrence. The Rangers were led by 17 points from Nyah Mazzone and 11 from freshmen Olivia Barron. Lawrence's Telaisha Solier led all scorers with 23 points on five 3-pointers.
