Pinkerton survives Bedford, reaches title game

Pinkerton boys lacrosse led Bedford 8-2 with seven minutes to play before Bedford threw a terrible scare into the Astros. The Bulldogs ran off five straight goals before Pinkerton was able to hang on for the 8-7 victory.

Ryan Auguer erupted for five goals and three assists to lift Pinkerton to an 11-4 win over Souhegan in opening round Division 1 boys lacrosse action. Chad Teresky contributed two goals and three assists.

Pinkerton sophomore Ryan Auger scored six goals in his team's 13-2 win over Exeter, officially topping 100 career goals in only his second year. Auger now has 102 goals with one more regular season game plus the postseason to play.

Pinkerton sophomore Ryan Auger scored three goals in his team's 15-3 win over Concord, raising his career total to 96 goals through his first two seasons. Auger will have a chance to reach 100 when the Astros face Exeter on Wednesday night.

Astros lose in double OT

The Pinkerton boys lacrosse team suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday, falling in double overtime to three-time defending MIAA Division 2 state champion Medfield 13-12. Ryan Auger had 4 goals and 4 assists in the loss, and Chris Valentine had a hat trick.
