Timberlane rolled past Windham (30-28, 25-10, 25-20) to punch its ticket to its fourth straigth state final.

Owls coach John Dube said, "We were good. We started out a little slow. It was just a good solid effort."

No. 7 Salem made No. 2 Timberlane work for it but the once-beaten Owls prevailed in straight sets (25-12, 25-22, 25-20) to advance to the state volleyball semifinals Thursday against No. 6 Windham, which upset Bishop Guertin.

Yanni Kakouris (15 service points, 28 digs) and Timberlane swept Londonderry. The Owls improved to 16-0. That sets up the much-hyped battle against 15-1 Pinkerton on Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. in Plaistow. 

Timberlane swept Keene to improve to 14-0. Yanni Kakouris contributed 16 service points and 15 digs.

Yanni Kakouris notched his 500th career dig to help Timberlane roll over Bishop Guertin 25-19, 25-27, 25-20, 25-20. Kakouris finished the day with 35 kills, giving him 532 for his career.

Yanni Kakouris had 21 digs, giving him 496 for his career, and Timberlane improved to 10-0 with a 3-0 win over Goffstown. Ryan Allen contributed 15 assists.

Yanni Kakouris scored 25 digs as Timberlane battled for a hard-fought 27-25, 25-23, 25-23 victory over Haverhill. Sam Hovan added 19 kills for the Owls, who improved to 9-0 while dropping the Hillies to 6-2.

Sam Hovan continued to dominate at the net, recording 15 kills, as Timberlane's volleyball team stayed unbeaten (7-0) with a 3-0 win over Mascenic.

Yanni Kakouris, a 5-foot-5 senior, notched team-highs in kills (17), aces (5) and digs (34) as Timberlane beat Windham 25-18, 25-16, 25-13.

In a battle of unbeatens, Timberlane's volleyball team swept Haverhill. Sam Hovan had 15 kills for the Owls (5-0) and Matt Perry led the team in assists and service points.
