Newburyport's Colleen Byron set a new school record in the triple jump on Wednesday, leaping 34-9 in the track team's tri-meet against Ipswich and Lynnfield. Byron also won the long jump (16-3) and helped the 4x100 relay team finish first overall as well. Overall Newburyport beat Ipswich 87-54 and lost to Lynnfield 83-54. Other winners included Julia Tribastone in the 100-meter dash (12.9), Olivia Sousa in the 200 (27.5) and 400 (63.8) and Anna Cutrone in the 2-mile.
