Methuen junior Ashley Adams was involved in all four goals during the Rangers' 4-0 soccer win at Malden Catholic. Adams scored twice and assisted on two others.

For the second day in a row, Sydney Valentino recorded the winning goal for Methuen. Thanks to Valentino's second half winner, the Rangers improved to 5-1-1. Brianne Begin assisted and Allison Hajjar had six saves.

In spite of the fact that they entered the game down several key players, the Rangers were able to come away with the win by the narrowest of margins. "We have three starters out right now with injuries," said coach Karen McLaughlin. "It was a real team effort and I'm just so happy for the girls."

Methuen goalie Allison Hajjar came up huge, making 12 saves to lead the Rangers in a 1-1 tie with Chelmsford.
