Governor's Academy 4, St. Paul's 0

The Govs (9-2-1) executed a strong first half offensive attack and dismantled St. Paul's on Wednesday afternoon, 4-0. All four goals were scored in the initial half with Linley Block scoring two and dishing out an assist, Taylor Ocko netting a pair, and Becca Block assisting twice.

Governor's Academy 1, Groton 0

Taylor Ocko scored the lone goal of the game on a cold and rainy day over a tough Groton opponent on the road. Ocko originally set up the play on a through ball to Linley Block, but Block was denied on a terrific save by the keeper, who could not control the ball. Mary Leah DiNicsco found the loose ball, sent it to Becca Block, who found Ocko open in front of goal for the easy game-winner.

Govs' Block sisters two much for Rivers School

The Governor's Academy beat the Rivers School on Wednesday, 2-0, improving their record to 6-1-1, and winning their second game in a row. Linley Block had a goal and an assist, Becca Block had a goal, and Kelly Lavallee dished out the game's first helper. Erin Quinlan recorded her fifth shutout of the season.

Huge save lifts Phillips

Phillips goalie Alex Farrell made a spectacular save with five minutes left to preserve at 1-0 win over previously unbeaten Governors Academy.
