Paola Gutierrez returned to the Greater Lawrence lineup after missing the last two weeks with the flu and was pivotal in the Reggies' 45-35, tourney-qualifying win over Lynn Tech. Gutierrez had a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, and Shabeli Villa was close behind with 15 points of her own.

Huge fourth quarter!

Danielle Martin poured in 19 of her career-best 36 points in a huge 28-point fourth quarter to help Whittier down Greater Lawrence, 64-49. Christina Medley showed off her all-around game, dishing out 16 assists, grabbing 12 boards, and scoring 4 points. Shabeli Villa led the way for the Reggies with 14 points.

Milestones

Paolo Gutierrez smashed her previous single-game career high of 16 points by netting a game-high 21 in Greater Lawrence's 50-46 victory over Greater Lowell. Katie Matatall also set a new career-high with 16 points in Timberlane's 70-50 loss to Trinity.

Reggies roll thanks to 19-2 fourth quarter

Paola Gutierrez had a double-double (14 points, 12 rebounds) as Greater Lawrence topped Northeast Metro, 47-41, in a thriller that came down to the wire. Trailing 39-28 at the close of the third quarter, the Reggies ripped off a 19-2 final frame to improve to 4-4. Rosa A. Javier contributed 13 points of her own, and Angie Gonzalez (four points) played stifling defense.
