Greater Lawrence used the long ball to slug their way past Lynn Tech. Kiki Donis hit a grand slam in the third inning, and Jassmelyn DeLeon and Paola Gutierrez went back-to-back to lead of the sixth inning.    

Greater Lawrence Tech had the hitting shoes on yesterday, pounding 27 safeties in a 20-10 thumping of Presentation of Mary Academy. Paola Gutierrez tore it up with a handful of hits and six RBIs. Shabelli Villa and Jassmelyn DeLeon added four hits apiece.

With the bases loaded, Greater Lawrence center fielder Shabelli Villa, drilled a shot to right field with what would have been her fifth hit of the game, but she was thrown out at first to end the game in a 13-11 loss to Minuteman.  

Kaisha Rodriguez scored four runs and Caitlyn McHugh three to lead Whittier to an 18-3 romp over Greater Lawrence. Shannon Dube earned the win.

The Greater Lawrence softball team won its third straight, blasting Chelsea 21-6. Danielle Sierra got the win in relief and blasted a three-run homer and Shabeli Villa was 4 for 5, had five RBIs and scored three runs.

A hero in a thriller last week, Kiki Donus was right back in the thick of things as the Greater Lawrence Tech softballers upended Mystic Valley. The Reggies' center fielder led the seventh with a double and scored the walk-off, game-winning run on Shabeli Villa's double. Jassmelyn DeLeon belted a two-run homer, a career first for the junior.

Shabeli Villa broke up a no-hitter in the sixth, scored the tying run in the seventh and finished as the winning pitcher as Greater Lawrence rallied past Minuteman 4-2. In the top of the eighth, Kiki Donus hit the go-ahead double that scored Jassmelyn DeLeon

An 11-run first inning lifted Greater Lawrence's softball team to its first win of the season, 17-2 over Presentation of Mary. Transfer Jassmelyn DeLeon (3 for 4) continued to hit well, stroking a pair of doubles and scoring three runs and sophomore Heather Boutin was 3 for 5 and scored twice.
