Haverhill fought right to the end of a tough season, rallying for six runs in the seventh but coming up just short in a 9-7 loss to Billerica. Matt Pickles laced a two-run single and Alex Ieronimo cleared loaded bases with a double before the inning ended with the tying runs aboard.

Andover senior Jake Ponti ripped a two-run home run in the first inning to spark the Warriors to a 6-1 victory over Billerica. Classmate Jonathan Levenson went the distance for the win, scattering six hits and not allowing an earned run.

D.J. Swarbrick rapped a first-inning two-run homer, Matthew Pelletier added two hits and defensive replacement Dan Shields made terrific plays in the field in the sixth and seventh innings at third base as Central downed Billerica 8-5.
